Krysia’s story
Financial Settlement Specialist
At BFI since 2011
- What do you value most about BFI?
The culture of the organisation. BFI is a company that puts people first. Not only within the walls of our HQ building, but also outside them, which means in collaboration with customers.
- Why do you think it is worth working for BFI?
Because it is a very employee-friendly company. And I am not just saying that for personal reasons [laughs], but also from my own immense experience. I can be honest and say that I have never worked somewhere that was so friendly.
- On a scale of 1 to 10, how satisfied are you with your current role and why?
It’s a 10; it would be difficult to rate it lower. I have brought up a smart supervisor and I am very satisfied, even happy to be here, to support the company and to work for it. My role required learning, as I was a shoe-making process engineer for 20 years, but anything is possible at BFI. Even the fact that I commute to work on an electric scooter! I am active and fulfilled.
- How would you describe BFI in three words?
Employee friendly; mum and pet friendly; putting people first.
