Kamil
Strength, perseverance, and passion – not only in freight forwarding.
Every day at BFI, he works as a road freight forwarder in the container department, where he combines logistical precision with sports discipline.
His adventure with sports began back in high school. That’s when Kamil first caught the bug for physical activity. From calisthenics, through a trainer course with Michał Karmowski, to amateur MMA and boxing – his path was never easy, but it always led toward movement and working with people.
“I worked at a gym as a trainer. What gave me the most joy was sharing my knowledge with beginners and showing them that health is the most important thing, and that physical fitness really makes a difference in everyday life,” he says. “It’s an amazing feeling when someone overcomes their barriers and takes that first step.”
He conducted his training sessions methodically but also with heart – not as a professional with titles, but as an enthusiast who started on his own, through trial and error. And to this day, he is happy to advise others if he sees he can help.
After the pandemic, Kamil got seriously involved in working in freight forwarding – he brings to the BFI team the same determination and discipline he developed on the mat, in the ring, and at the gym. Despite changing his priorities, sport still holds an important place in his life. As he says himself, “he was always lifting some weights.”
And today? He is getting back in shape. His goal: to compete in a physique contest on stage this spring. He trains regularly – gym, boxing, sparring, and cycling – not recreationally, but seriously, competitively, out in the field.
“Stepping out of your comfort zone is the first step toward something great,” he says. And it’s hard to disagree with that.
