CASE STUDY
Transportation of Copper Granules for the Industrial Sector
Challenge
During the transportation of approximately 24 tonnes of copper granules loaded into a Walking Floor trailer, the material partially compacted due to moisture and pressure generated during transit. As a result, a bridging effect occurred during unloading, preventing the material from flowing freely.
Solution
Our team implemented a series of operational measures to ensure a safe and efficient unloading process. These included pulsed operation of the Walking Floor system, controlled loosening of the material, and additional support during the final stage of unloading.
Result
Despite the unusual circumstances, the cargo was successfully unloaded without damage to the trailer or the consignee’s infrastructure. Thanks to the experience and expertise of our team, downtime was avoided and uninterrupted supply to the industrial facility was maintained.
